Are you a registered business in Trinidad and Tobago?

 

If so, your first-time purchase of my artwork can afford you, the corporate buyer, access to the Art and Culture Allowance of the Corporate Tax Act in T&T. You can claim 100% of the actual cost of the painting (up to a maximum of TTD 6 million) with your first-time purchase.

 

Accessing the tax allowance

When the registered business submits its corporate tax return (form 500 ctr), please include the relevant purchase information in the schedule re: the ‘art and culture, sportsman, sporting activities/audiovisual or video production and fashion promotion. 

 

Atelier Tavernelle will provide the valuation of the artwork certificate at no extra charge to support the claim for the tax allowance.
